Face Tattoo Ban Bill : Protecting our Future from Long Lasting Effects of Tattoos gone Wrong
Purpose of Bill: The Purpose of this piece of legislation is to protect our future children and young adults from lasting affects of tattoos that may or will go wrong.
Tattoo Parlors, Shops, Ink Spots, Ink Spa will no longer be allowed to perform face tattooing. This ban goes in effect 3.12.2022, no forms of facial scarring, via ink etch, tattooing, etc.
In Addition, Tattoo shops will no longer be allowed to perform tattooing without a temporary etch preformed on the client. Temporary etch defines drafting out art work on client. A client can approve the work once 15 days has been reached with draft intact. A Tattoo shop is required to make the client wait 15 days after drafting etch ( Drafting temporary markings to last 15 days) . A client is required to return after 15 days to approve their decision of the tattoo they want completed, an acknowledgement of approval must be signed. A tattoo shop is allow to charge an etch fee up to any amount they choose.
This piece of legislation also raises the Minimum age to get any tattoo work done to 21. Enforcement of this law will be $150 Fine per Incident, Lose of License, Loss of Business, 180 Community service hours.
